Silent Sentinel crowned Export Business of the Year 2019

Silent Sentinel are pleased to announce they won the Export Business of the Year award at the Inspiring Hertfordshire awards last week for their continued growth in global exports.

The ceremony took place at the magnificent St Albans Cathedral on Thursday 13th June where over 300 attendees celebrated the awards. Silent Sentinel were finalists in both the Export Business of the Year, and Business of the of Year (Small to Medium) categories.

The Export Business of the Year award, sponsored by Kingston Smith Accountants, recognises Hertfordshire based businesses who export globally and have generated significant increases in their export activity over the past couple of years. The judges read in their entry how Silent Sentinel, a Hertfordshire born and bred business, have exported to over 50 countries across six continents since 2006, and have exported 64% of their goods internationally so far in 2019.

“This was our first time entering these awards so as you can imagine we were surprised and delighted to win. It’s a fantastic achievement for all the staff in the company and rewarding to be recognised for their hard work” says Managing Director, Paul Elsey.

“It’s a really exciting time to be in the business and receiving the award was the cherry on top to the year so far, we can’t wait to continue exporting and expanding even further afield” states Marketing Manager, Madeleine Roff.

By winning this award, Silent Sentinel have been automatically entered for the 2019 Chamber Business Awards, a national level award, for which they hope to become finalists at later this year.
