Radar security systems
Radar is an object-detection system that uses radio waves to determine the range, altitude, direction, or speed of objects.
Radar security systems can be used to detect aircraft, ships, motor vehicles and people.
The radar dish or antenna transmits pulses of radio waves or microwaves that bounce off any object in their path. The object returns a tiny part of the wave's energy to the dish or antenna that is usually located at the same site as the transmitter.
Silent Sentinel camera systems all feature absolute positioning feedback which means that when twinned with radar, the camera will track any detected objects automatically.
Various radar options are available depending upon detection range required and all will work on land or over water. The detection range of the radar makes it a cost effective solution for protecting large areas without the need for too many cameras or other detection devices.
